Step-by-Step: What Happens When You Invite a Client
Step 1: Click "Invite a Client" from Your Dashboard
You’ll find this button on the top-right of your Reentry Navigator dashboard.
Step 2: Enter Basic Info (Name, Email, and/or Phone)
You’ll be prompted to enter your client’s:
Name
Email address (required)
Mobile phone number (optional)
If you include a phone number, your client will receive a text in addition to the email invitation.
Pro Tip: Let your client know you’re sending the invite! Clients are much more likely to accept and sign up when they know to look out for the email or text message.
Step 3: Your Client Receives an Email
Here’s what the email looks like:
Subject line: [Your Name] Invited You to Join Honest Jobs
Step 4: Your Client Gets a Text (If You Entered a Phone Number)
They’ll also receive a text message that looks like this:
Text Message Content: "Hi [Client Name]! [Your Name] from [Your Organization] has invited you to join Honest Jobs. Click here to accept their invitation: [Unique Link]"
Step 5: Your Client Creates a Job Seeker Account
When your client clicks the link in the text or email, they’ll be prompted to create a free job seeker profile.
Step 6: You Get Full Visibility
Once your client creates their account, you gain access to important information through your Reentry Navigator dashboard.
With a Basic account, you can:
View your client’s job seeker profile
View and download their resume
See how compatible each job is with their background
Provide feedback and encouragement
With a Full Access account, you can do all of the above, plus:
See which jobs your client has applied for
Recommend new jobs and reentry resources directly to them
All of this happens within your Reentry Navigator dashboard, so you’re always up to speed.
