Fair-Chance Employer Badges
Honest Jobs is unique in that (1) Every job on our platform is from an employer intentionally seeking justice-impacted job seekers and (2) Our badge system enables employers to demonstrate their commitment to hiring people with records… by showing they actually hire them. Having a Fair-Chance Employer Badge increases trust and boosts applications from job seekers who have often faced repeated rejection due to their records.
Here is how the badging system works:
The gray check badge means the employer does not yet have any verified hires on Honest Jobs. Whenever a new employer joins on our platform, they have this badge until we have verified their first hire.
The green check badge means the employer has 1-4 verified hires on Honest Jobs.
The gold check badge means the employer has 5-9 verified hires on Honest Jobs.
The gold logo badge means the employer has 10 or more verified hires on Honest Jobs. This is currently the highest badge we award, and represents a proven practice of fair-chance hiring.
For employers: If your badge does not reflect the number of people you have hired through Honest Jobs, contact your Account Manager or email employers@honestjobs.co. We will help you verify your hires and earn the corresponding badge!
